Safety precautions for lithium
ion rechargeable battery pack
Incorrect handling of a lithium ion rechargeable
battery may cause leakage, heat, smoke, explosion, or fire,
which could result in deterioration of performance or failure.
This may also damage the protection device installed in the
battery pack, resulting in damage to the equipment or injury
to the user. The instructions below must be unconditionally
followed.
When charging the battery, use dedicated
chargers and follow the specified conditions.
Do not connect directly to an electric
outlet or car cigarette lighter.
Do not use or charge the battery close
to fire or inside a car in which the temperature may exceed
60oC.
Stop charging the battery if charging
is not completed within the specified time.
Thoroughly read
the user's manual for the charger before charging the battery.
Do not charge the battery in a place where
static electricity is generated, or let the battery touch
something that is statically charged.
The battery can be charged within
a 0oC to 45oC temperature range.
