NEC Tokin lithium-ion rechargeable
batteries are sold to business users as OEM products. Battery-packs
are custom-developed by determining the battery specifications
through consultation with our customers after listening to how
their devices are used and the technical specifications of the
batteries. Consequently, we require a minimum number of units
to be ordered and produced.
There is no standard battery-pack product. Since we do not sell
individual cells, we request that you purchase cells in battery-packs.

| Miniature laminated lithium-ion rechargeable
batteries |
Small and lightweight
Mainly with capacity of 400 mAh or less These batteries are
able to produce a high current
(approximately 1 CA) compared to coin-type batteries, making
them optimum for use in Bluetooth devices, remote control units,
MP3 players and other small, lightweight devices. |

| Rectangular lithium-ion rechargeable batteries |
These batteries are characterized
by their high-energy density
exceeding 400 Wh/I, and are used mainly in mobile phones and
digital cameras. The capacity ranges from 400 mAh to 2Ah.
This is the most highly-produced lithium-ion rechargeable battery.

| Large-capacity laminated lithium-ion rechargeable
batteries |
These batteries
are characterized by a
large-capacity continuous discharge current of
3 C to 5 C. Although capacities mainly range
from 3 Ah to 4 Ah at present, there is potential for
large-capacity types in the future.
These batteries are optimum for electric-assisted
bicycle, electric wheelchairs, power tools, robots,
UPS and cordless cleaners.
In addition, since they do not contain lead, cadmium,
mercury or other environmentally-regulated materials,
they are receiving considerable attention as an alternative
to lead storage batteries and nickel-cadmium batteries. |
